Target Tutors Pty (Ltd) offers an enriching learning environment which encourages and motivates students to achieve their academic potential and goals. We aim to provide a high standard of quality education for our students in order to equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes for academic success. We believe that through personalised and focused teaching processes, our students will develop the tools they need for ongoing success. Target Tutors Pty (Ltd) was founded by Danica Sousa in 2014 and the company was registered in August 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Honours in Education (WITS) and a Teaching English to Foreigners (TEFL) qualification. She is a passionate, enthusiastic, dedicated and a focused educator, who is committed in promoting the education and well-being of learners at all times. She believes in creating an active learning environment where engagement is very important for academic success at school level and beyond. She is constantly engaged in continuous learning with recent trends in the field of Teaching and Education. Danica has completed her Masters In Education in March 2024. Her specialisation for her Masters Degree is in Psychology, Pedagogy and Inclusive Education. She has been endorsed with a Golden Key from WITS University and is in the top 15% in her field. She is now a member of the Golden Key International Honours Society and has been offered benefits for scholarships to other Universities worldwide. She has been tutoring and teaching since 2009 and teaching since 2014. Her student's interests are her top priority. We offer tuition for Primary and High school students and specialise in English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, Physical Science, Life Sciences and Accountancy. Assistance is also provided for Homework Supervision, Improved Study Skills and Exam Revision. In addition, we also offer assistance in Reading, Spelling and vocabulary in both English and Afrikaans as well as support in Mathematics for students in the Foundation Phase (Grade 1-3). We also specialise in Foreign Teaching and English to Foreigners for all ages and all levels. Our tutors are highly experienced and qualified in the subject matter being taught to students. We are a team of passionate, dedicated, professional, committed, reliable and enthusiastic teachers, who enjoy conveying knowledge at various levels as well as demonstrating the ability to monitor academic progress on a continuous basis. Our team consists of educators and student teachers who are studying a Bachelor of Education degree or a Postgraduate qualification in teaching. We are passionate about tutoring and helping learners make progress and will go beyond the call of duty to assist them in any way that is needed. Tutors follow a conceptual and innovative approach. This enables and assists students in gaining both the content knowledge of the subject matter as well as conceptual understanding.
